In 1969, a group of eleven dedicated hunters and fishermen founded a local hunting club that gave members an opportunity to hunt and fish together and more importantly, bring people together people who loved the sport. The organization has continued in its mandate to honour the responsibilities the sport brings with it, to be aware of the delicate balance in nature and to teach the younger generations a sense of caring and respect for nature. The German hunting and fishing club hosts annual dinners at the Regina German Club to honour this tradition.
